30 Days of Giveaways: Day 21 – Trixiedelicious!

When I was offered the opportunity to review something by Trixiedelicious, I was thrilled. I had read about her “vandalized vintage” china just a few weeks before and immediately fallen in love with it. I have a retro kitchen with pink walls and when I saw Trixiedelicious’ store on Etsy all I could think of was how cool any of her plates or cups would look with my kitch-inspired kitchen.

Trixiedelicious takes vintage china (mostly from New Zealand where she’s located) and “vandalizes” it – actually she paints words or short phrases on it that are a contrast to the lovely china. Her most famous work is probably the “Seven deadly sins” series, which I think is just brilliant.

When I received the box in the mail I couldn’t wait to open it. Carefully wrapped for the long trip from New Zealand there were two lovely yellow cups and saucers with the words “Freak” and “Creep” handwritten on them.

The words are painted on the cups using a paint that stays on the china, so they are safe to use for your favorite drink (coffee, in my case). I had to try them out immediately too:

Needless to say, I love them and can truly recommend Trixiedelicious to you. Her stuff is just too cool!
