Julie, the artist behind Punk Scrapper, told me a bit about herself & her work:

How did you get started? As a child, my sister and I spent our free time crafting and being artistic, we didn’t have a tv until I was older and so we were creative in entertaining ourselves! I continued to love art as I grew up, taking some classes here and there. My husband encouraged me to make a go of my art as my full time job (which I had always wanted to do) and so…I did! Its not easy but every moment is a joy and worth the work!

What’s your inspiration? I find inspiration in a lot of places…my faith, my family and friends, other artists, nature, society, movies, books, etc!

What is your favorite medium? Drawing has always been my favorite, give me a sketch pad and a black zig pen and Im happy for hours!

Do you do custom items? Yes, I loooove custom items! They are my favorite, it is fun to try new things and also to tap into the customer’s creative ideas!
