Halloween Giveaway 10/17: Hollywoof Styles – Choice of Dog Collar!

Melissa is the fab owner & brains behind Hollywoof Styles, a shop for dog collars of all sizes! You know how much I love my own dogs – I figured featuring a pet artiste on Ms. Modern would be a winner with all our readers as well! I had the chance to find out a bit about Melissa & how she got started. Here’s what she had to say:

How did you get started?
It started with just making cute collars with sturdy metal buckles for our Cairn Terrier who went through the plastic buckles like candy. From there it grew into making collars for family, friends and co-workers and from there it just kept growing.

What’s your inspiration?
I love finding ribbons that tell a story. Cute fairytale ribbons always catch my eye and I love things that are unusual. I think collars are like shoes for dogs…you can never have too many.

What’s your favorite medium?
I love beautiful fabrics and woven jacquard ribbons. They are high quality and hold up well for dogs.

Do you do custom items?
We make a LOT of custom items. Unfortunately there isn’t a one-size fits all for dogs so we are always happy to fill a custom request. Plus it makes it a little more special for the pet to have something that was custom made just for them.

Melissa has tons and tons of neat designs for your dog! They come in Buckle Style, Martingale Style (the adjustable kind) or Half-Chain style. She even makes sizes small through extra large.
