I admit it. I’m a “Happy Pill” taker. Hey, not all of us have enough seratonin in our lovely brains. Ahem. Anyway, I chose to feature Happiness items on this week’s etsy showcase. These are all items to bring a bit of cheer in your life without breaking the bank!

Prozac Cupcake Pendant from Monster Kookies – $20.00
This cupcake was inspired by a discussion I had with a friend of mine, and the fact that we both agree that in the future you will be able to purchase prescription drugs from the bulk bins in grocery and candy stores. They will be the “new candy”. This piece is about 1″ tall. It has a loop in the top that will be attached to a keyring style jumpring and strung on a 20″ black rubber cord with a lobster clasp and a chain extension.

Red Tree & Blue Birdy Wool Felt Bro0ch from Chebang – $20
This brooch is part of my ongoing felt brooch series. They are completely unique and lovingly hand stitched. Each one might contain these items: wool felt, cotton fabric, foam, buttons, sequins, embroidery thread, beads, and other miscellany. Every brooch has a foam lining for stability. These babies hold up nicely, but please don’t wash. They will shrink. A sunny yellow color with a delightful bluebird nesting in a tree. An apple and town complete the look. Sure to brighten anyone’s day!

Yellow Sunshine Flowered Beanie from Lazy T Crochet – $18.00
A lightweight hat for fall or spring! Bright yellow in an open, lacy design. Soft acrylic yarn with a green beaded flower attached. One can’t help but smile when they see you coming down the street wearing this fetching hat!

Choose Happiness Cuff Links from Bella Moda Artist – $18.25
Each cuff link is handmade using recycled metal, resin, ink and silver. BMA has tons of fabulous cuff links, like Thunder Cats! Heh. I think the “Choose Happiness” links are a great way to add an extra positive touch to a dressy outfit for the man in your life. Show him how much you love him by purchasing these!

Happiness Bag from Glamorous Groceries - $19.95
This bag says, “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.” Glamorous Groceries are an upscale cloth grocery bag manufactured completely by hand in the USA. These bags offer an alternative to the cheap, plain, and flimsy “reusable” bags you find at the check out line at most grocery stores today. This bags is made of 100% canvas on the outside and lined with poly/cotton. The lining doubles the durability by providing protection against ripping or tearing.
