I just realized the funniest thing. I messaged the owner of QA Create, letting ?? know that I received 2 boxes from them to review instead of one. Apparently I won the set of wine charms that I received from another site! Too crazy! Small world. Well, that just shows that I loved QA Create’s store right off the bat! I did have a chance to ask them how they got into this craft.

How did you get started? WE WERE ORIGINALLY LOOKING FOR A PAIR OF CUFFLINKS AND REALIZED HOW BLAND MANY OF THE OFFERINGS WERE; SO WE DECIDED TO CREATE OUR OWN WITH ITEMS OF NOSTALGIC SIGNIFICANCE.

What’s your inspiration? MEMORIES AND IMAGINATION – WHAT DO PEOPLE CHERISH FROM YESTERYEAR AND WHAT DO PEOPLE WANT TO BE? THESE TWO QUESTIONS DRIVE A LOT OF OUR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT.

What’s your favorite medium? ALTHOUGH WE DON’T OFFER MANY PRODUCTS YET, METAL IS FUN; IF NOTHING ELSE, FOR ITS CHALLENGE.

Do you do custom items? YES, CUSTOM REQUESTS ARE OFTEN INSPIRATION FOR NEW ITEMS THAT OTHERS CAN ENJOY TOO.

Despite being the owner of a sweet set of wine charms, here’s the fab necklace and ring I got to review! It came in a red bag:

 Inside the red bag, I found a beautiful Y ring and a 10 necklace made out of vintage typewriter parts! Very unique and ornate items!

Although these items were sent to me in a random fashion, the artists behind QA Create could not have known how much these 2 pieces spoke to me on an emotional level.

To me, this 10 necklace means something very important. The year 2010, for me, is a year of 10-year anniversaries for some life-changing things that happened in my life in 2000. The #10 has greatly been on my mind since the new year and will be a big part of the year to come for me. So, I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have a physical representation of the 10 that’s been in my heart this past month! And, it’s a beautifully set 10 as well!

Once again, the Y in this ring is perfect for me as well. When I think of the things I went through in the year of 2000, I still, to this day, wonder, WHY, they happened. I think that QA Create has many pieces like this Y ring and the 10 Necklace that will mean something to YOU or to one of YOUR FRIENDS.
