We have another male artist in this month’s set of etsy giveaways: Jamie from Blue 22 Screenprints and postcards! Here’s what he had to say about his artwork:

–> How did you get started?
A friend of mine recommended that I try to sell some of my prints online and pointed me towards Etsy, which I had never heard of before then. I’ve been hooked ever since.

–> What’s your inspiration?
I find inspiration in a variety of forms including everyday life experiences, friends, maps, comedians, history, and photography.

–> What’s your favorite medium?
I like screen-printing a lot, it’s fun and challenging, specifically because of the limitations it inherently presents. It also offers a nice and healthy break from the normal graphics that I create mostly on the computer for a more slick presentation.

–> Do you do custom items?
I’m always open to collaborating on custom projects, just inquire!

As a theatre gal with lots of friends in NYC, I simply LOVE this postcard print, entitled “I Still Love NY” ($6):
