The Smiling Frog is a unique store in that it houses everything for jewelry to pet accessories. That’s one-stop shopping for the likes of me! Here’s how Angelica got started:

How did you get started? I have been making anything and everything since I was able to use my fingers. I’ve never seen a craft I didn’t want to try, which is why we have a mix of items in the shop. My mother has always been a seamstress (she occasionally has items in the shop). We not have a new fellow crafter/seamstress, Ashley B. who is helping me with dog toys and clothes.

What’s your inspiration? Etsy and all of the super talented folks there, nature, craft books, craft shows, just things that I see and say “Hey I can make that”.

What’s your favorite medium? Hmmm, that’s a hard one. I guess I would have to say fabric because of the gorgeous and cute prints you can find.

Do you do custom items? We can do some custom items. Some of our things are one of a kind just because the materials are recycled or vintage.
