I’ve been very moved by our readers’ entries for the Kind Notes Jar Giveaway. Entrants are required to say who they’d give their jar to and why.

• Elsie says: “The inspiration notes would be perfect for my sister, a nurse, to have available to patients and their families at the nurses’ desk, or in the waiting room….very sweet, and soft whispers of hope!”
• Meaghan says: “I would give it to my sister. She works five days a week at a low paying job and she has two very rambunctious kids. She’s gone for almost 12 hours a day and then she has to cook and clean when she gets home. She could use some kind words to lift her spirit.”
